JBO BASEBALL TRYOUTS

COST: FREE

If selected for a team, there is a registration fee.

LOCATION: SCAPPOOSE HIGH SCHOOL GYM.

DATE: Saturday, March 5, 2022

TIME: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM

--Players need to bring your baseball gear, please wear a cup if a catcher.  Please wear gym shoes.

--Players will be evaluated by a group of impartial judges.

--JBO board members will be available for any questions at the beginning of tryouts.

--Due to the number of players per team and number of teams, cuts may occur.

--If a player has been cut, parents will be notified within a week of tryouts.

--Players remaining will practice a few times, as one team, so coaches may determine final team rosters.

--If your player is selected for a JBO team, you will receive an email with additional registration requirements and have access to team site. There is a registration fee of $150 for the season and a required jersey purchase of approximately $50. Jerseys will be same as 2021, so if you purchased a jersey last year, no need to purchase another.  Hats will be provided for players.  ***Please do not purchase uniform until teams have been finalized***

--Per Scappoose JBO rules, players may NOT participate in both JBO and another baseball organization during the same season.

--Registration fee will be paid, in person (check or card only, please no cash) at the first day of practice.  Checks are preferred to avoid card use fees.
